Abstract

The article proposes an approach to the coordinated control of traction loads in the power supply system of railway transport under the conditions of real-time capacity limitation of the energy infrastructure. The results of experimental studies of the electrical parameters of traction loads and traction substations of an electrified section are presented to assess the practical application of technologies for managing the demand for traction loads in electric power systems of railway transport. Data from measuring systems of electric rolling stock (currents, voltages, powers, speed, location) and traction substations (currents, voltages, powers) were synchronized in time and transmitted to a cloud server. The implementation of the proposed technical solutions will reduce the peak load capacity of traction substations by 22 %.
