Abstract
The authors analyze the main trends in the development of new media, primarily collaboration with social networks and other Internet platforms that shape the agenda and influence the behavior of the audience through emotions. Other trends include consumer care and the transformation of brands into media. In addition, the paper describes the key principles of the formation and distribution of media content and the main trends of modern media design. Observations have shown that all state and commercial media in Transnistria, as well as press services of ministries and departments, use various modern technologies in their work: they maintain official pages on social networks and instant messengers, and create mobile applications. The trend of creating your own original media projects, using modern design trends, tools for creating and promoting content in various formats, has become current.
