Abstract

The article reflects the essence and legislative foundations of employment in personal subsidiary plots in the Russian Federation. Statistical data on the dynamics of the number and average area of personal subsidiary plots, their distribution on the territory of Russia are given. The directions of state support of personal subsidiary plots are considered. The problem of pension provision for citizens employed in personal subsidiary plots is revealed. The foreign experience of organizing the activities of family farms is considered. Recommendations are proposed to support those employed in personal subsidiary plots in our country.
