Abstract

Background The amount of oil contained in the partially flooded reservoirs, which is unprofitable to be developed by traditional methods, is growing. Aims and Objectives It is necessary to use evolutional technologies for the redistribution of water flux injected into a reservoir and to create the insulating screens in water-saturated parts of the reservoir by means of sediment and gel forming reagents and viscoelastic compositions. Methods In the work it was applied: the theory of fuzzy sets, multivariate statistics, various algorithmic methods, system analysis, information theory, some methods of the structural analysis and design of complex systems. Results The scope of inhomogeneous reservoir flooding increases by means of inorganic gel-forming compositions based on the «salt of aluminum - carbamide - surfactant - water», in addition the regulation of intake capacity profile occurs, subsequently, the oil recovery of heterogeneous layers increases. These compositions can be used at early stages as well as at last stages of field development, but at the early stage they are more efficient. Conclusion The complex methods of enhanced oil recovery were offered for the effective further development of Vat-Yoganskoye field. It is based on the application of evolutionary flooding and thermal gel control of filtration flows in common, which, according to our estimates, will increase the oil recovery factor by 8-9 points.
