Abstract

Background Currently reservoir «Dragon» is being developed with an average water cut of production wells which is constantly increasing. Most of the wells use artificial lift but the flow rates are gradually falling. Additional extraction of residual oil is impossible without use of special techniques and technologies to stimulate productive formations and involve all types of residual oils in the field to enhance oil recovery (EOR). Increased oil production can be realized using the appropriate EOR methods, one of which is the method of injection of surface-active agents (surfactants), which has been specifically studied for the purpose of application in the Dragon field. Limited use of modern EOR methods leads to the fact that the oil recovery factor is reduced 3 ... 4 % in a decade. Thus today is necessary to vigorously implement new advanced technology to involve the development of all types of residual oil field, entered the final stage of operation, and effective development of deposits of heavy viscous oils. Aims and Objectives To develop a technology for physical and chemical treatment of the «Dragon» field using the compositions of surfactants on in order to increase oil recovery. Results A technology of physico-chemical treatment by the composition of water-based surfactants is developed. The composition is formed by mixing the sodium salt of alpha-olefin sulfonates with the sodium salt of alkyl sulfates, ethoxy alkyl phenols and sulfonated polyacrylamide grade AN-125, designated to increase the oil recovery factor from the waterflooded inefficient layers when waterflooding efficiency becomes low due to high interfacial tension between the water and oil phases, especially in the case of high viscous oil.
