Abstract
The article examines the problems of public administration in the field of rural tourism. An analysis of legislation containing the definition of rural tourism is presented. The main features of rural tourism are highlighted. It was noted that it is necessary to clarify the legal status of participants in relations for the provision of services in the field of rural tourism. Questions also arise regarding determining the status of agricultural producers as persons providing services in the field of rural tourism.
