Abstract
Purpose of researchis to compare the cellular and biochemical composition of autoplasm obtained using different methods for use in the treatment of macular hole. Material and methods. The study of the number of platelets, leukocytes and fibrinogen in the blood plasma of 24 volunteers obtained by centrifugation in the original systems for harvesting autoplasm was performed. Results. The indicators of autoplasm obtained in the Arthrex ACP system and in the Ycellbio-Kit system do not statistically significantly differ in the amount of fibrinogen (p < 0.05), but differ in the content of platelets and leukocytes (p > 0.05) in the direction of increasing their concentration in the autoplasm obtained in the Ycellbio-Kit system. Conclusion. Currently, autoplasm obtained in the Arthrex ACP system is of greater interest for macular hole surgery due to the minimal content of leukocytes, the closeness of the system, and the best coagulation properties of the substrate obtained.
