Abstract
The article examines the lexical-semantic features of the Mamluk-Kipchak manuscript «Kitab ad-Durra al-Mudiya fil-lugat it-Turkiya Ala at-Tamam Val-Kamal» - «A Fully completed book of the Treasury of the Turkic languages», which was written in the XIII-XIV centuries in Egypt and Syria. The manuscript consists of 24 fasl-chapters. The volume of vocabulary is 1214 words. Vocabulary is an easily changing part of the language. Hence, by comparing the vocabulary of "Kitab ad-durra..." with data from other Mamluk-Kipchak texts and living Turkic languages, it is possible to identify the ethnolinguistic characteristics and multi-faceted semantic features of this monument. At the same time, by using well-known methods of vocabulary research, the dictionary corpus of the manuscript is classified by lexico-thematic groups, and this vocabulary is compared with the data of the modern Kazakh language.
