Lina Mohi Hadi - Almustaqbal University - College of Physical Education and Sports Sciences The role of women's sports is organically linked to the requirements of sustainable development of members of society, the change in women's behavior is linked to the quality of their aspirations towards themselves, as they are often Women athletes are more inclined to assume new responsibilities nominated for their role in society than women who do not practice sports, and their role is affected by the overall structures and conditions that society suffers from, and getting out of this situation cannot succeed unless the relevant authorities contribute to providing opportunities for women to participate in various fields and sports fields for their active roles in achieving the goals of sustainable development for members of society. The neglect or lack of interest in the cultural and social role of women's sports in achieving the development goals of members of society is what prompted the researcher to study this problem, which suffered from neglect. The research aimed to identify the role of women's social and cultural sports and its impact on the formation of women's personality in society and change their behavior and personal and social features, which supports their role in achieving the goals of sustainable development for members of society, because attention to women's sports and giving it precedence in the process of change and development has multiple effects on the role of women . And her position in society, in addition to her participation in sports activities, it also affects the change of her perception to seize important opportunities for her, The researchers used the descriptive method/survey and reached the following conclusions: 1-The cultural and social role of women's sports has an impact on achieving the sustainable development goals of members of society, and changing society's view of women athletes and their aspirations for themselves, which urges them to seize important opportunities for them The researchers recommended the following: 1- Allowing women to practice sports and participate in all their activities, in order to change their roles and improve their status, and to fully integrate into achieving the goals of sustainable development for members of society, increasing their culture, and their participation in various sports activities.
