Abstract
It is planned to install the radar complex RLK-L on the Luna 26 orbital module to study the surface, subsurface layers of the lunar soil and search for internal voids in it. Radars will use linearly modulated signals for radiosonding. Reflected signals carry information about the reflection environment. The mechanism of changing the signal spectrum when reflected from a layered soil based on a model of a multilayer dielectric medium with absorption is considered in this paper.
