Abstract

At the present stage of updating education in chemistry in the development of students' self-learning abilities, as well as project work, is an urgent task of secondary schools. This article presents the results of a study on the development of students' self-learning abilities through the organization and planning of their project work on the topics of organic chemistry projects for Grade 11. The pedagogical experiment covered 12 students of the 3rd year education system of named Abai KAZNPU University. The data obtained as a result of the assessment of the teacher and the self-assessment of students showed a clear development of students' self-learning abilities in experimental classes.
