Abstract
The purpose of this study is to analyze the moderating effect of positive psychological capital in the effect of participation in leisure sports on college life satisfaction in college students. To this end, a survey was conducted on first to fourth graders enrolled in K University located in Gyeonggi-do, and 215 valid copies of the collected questionnaire were used for analysis. As a result of the verification, first, it was found that college students' participation in leisure sports had a positive (+) effect on their satisfaction with college life. Second, it was found that positive psychological capital partially regulated the relationship between college students' participation in leisure sports and their satisfaction with college life. Through this, it can be seen that participation in leisure sports is a useful resource for students to lead a psychologically and physically healthy college life by relieving the psychological pressure they have as they are in the transition period from college students to professionals. This suggests that various leisure sports activity programs on campus should be distributed and encouraged to provide opportunities for students to access healthier leisure sports more easily and to pursue an atmosphere where they can actively experience them.
