현대중국어 ‘一旦’과 한국어 ‘일단’의 의미 대조

Abstract

In this paper, we analyzed the relationship between paronym Chinese word ‘一旦’ and Korean word ‘일단(il-dan)’ and compared and contrasted the meaning and the usage of the word.BR First, Chinese word ‘一旦(yidan)’ contains meaning of ‘instantaneous nature of past realized events’, ‘assumption of facts that did not happen’, ‘assumption of facts that already happened’, ‘sufficient conditions’, and ‘high tendency’.BR On the other hand, the Korean word ‘일단(il-dan)’ contains meaning of ‘first of all’, ‘for a moment’, ‘assumption of facts that did not happen’, ‘assumption of facts that already happened’, ‘sufficient conditions’, and ‘high tendency’.BR Using meaning of ‘first of all’ in Korean word ‘일단(il-dan)’ to Chinese word ‘一旦(yidan)’ is a misuse. It is the main interfering phenomenon that Korean Chinese learners do.BR In addition, both ‘一旦(yidan)’and ‘일단(il-dan)’ has meaning of ‘assumption of facts that did not happen’, however, unlike ‘일단(il-dan)’, ‘一旦(yidan)’ can be used in both positive situation and negative situation.
