Abstract

The use of a sequentially arranged linear Wines velocity filter (WLF) and an energy analyzer with a retarding potential (RFA) made it possible to measure the ion spectra of a multicomponent plasma flow by energies, masses, and charges. The description of the ideas and test results of two versions of the analyzer is given: WLF + RFA and RFA + WLF.
