The article analyzes the issues of management and ensuring the economic security of the State. The aim of the research is to identify and generalize the challenges and to substantiate the imperatives of strengthening the economic security of Ukraine in the conditions of wartime. It has been shown and proved that the state of security of the national economy of Ukraine has significantly weakened in the conditions of a full-scale war. It is found that the confirmation of this was the weakening of the macroeconomic component due to the destruction, relocation and closure of enterprises and businesses, the complication of the issue of guaranteeing financial security due to the reduction of receipts to the State treasury and local budgets and the increase in security and defense costs, the decrease in the stability of foreign economic security as a result of the suspension of aviation and sea transportation, decline in investment security as a result of increased military risks and threats, destabilization of innovative security due to difficulties in the innovative and technological activities of business entities, aggravation of social and demographic security challenges due to massive external and internal forced population movements, job losses, lower income levels, increase in unemployment, etc. The imperatives of the State policy of restoring economic stability and ensuring the economic security of the national economy of Ukraine in the conditions of wartime have been determined. Means of strengthening such components of Ukraine's economic security as macroeconomic, industrial, financial, foreign economic, investment-innovative, socio-demographic are identified. The novelty of the research results lies in the further development of methodological and applied provisions for identifying challenges and determining the imperatives of the State policy of strengthening the economic security of the State in conditions of wartime. The practical significance of the research results lies in the possibility of implementation of the determined imperatives by specialized State administration bodies in order to strengthen the economic security of Ukraine in the environment of challenges and threats of the full-scale war.
