The representation of the topic is based on identifying the historical lessons of the introduction of a new economic policy in peasant Russia, comprehending the mistakes and blunders of the government's policy in the context of critical transformations of the historical past, highlighting the experience of overcoming conflict situations and protest moods. The strategic guidelines of the ruling party remained unchanged, focused on the creation of a new society. The author's representation of the strategic maneuver of the authorities a century ago, associated with the transition to a new economic policy in Russia, is accompanied by associative reflections on the current situation in the country and the strategic image of the modern Russian Federation based on its own national identity.
