Abstract

The purpose of this study is to analyze research trends through previous studies on maker education and physical education subject maker education and to examine policy suggestions for maker education through expert opinions. As a result of analyzing 295 papers collected to examine maker education research trends, the following results were obtained. First, domestic maker of education research, yearly change is the thesis of the start in 2015, has grown rapidly in the year 2017. Second, academic journal papers accounted for a large proportion until 2021, depending on the type of publication. Third, research on elementary and middle school students increases every year, and a number of papers on incumbent teachers and prospective teachers have also been published. Fourth, it was mainly used for practical purposes such as program development, and many studies using digital tools have been conducted. Next, in order to derive policy suggestions for revitalizing physical education subject maker education, open surveys were conducted through field teachers, maker education experts, and physical education experts, and the obtained data were categorized to obtain the following results. It was confirmed that in order to revitalize physical education subject maker education, efforts to establish the philosophy of physical education maker education, spread awareness of value, and establish an environment are necessary. In this study, based on the overseas maker of education for a follow-up study trends research, diversification of the study, various programs, including development of the contents of the suggestion.
