Abstract

This study analyzes Chinese representative rental youth apartments based on Field theory, examining the correlation between these apartments and their fields. The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of spatial design of projects on interaction patterns and communication modes among tenants through the field theory. First, it explores the relationship between Field theory's concepts and characteristics, applying the relationship between field capital and practice to rental youth apartments. It then examines how project background, space structure, and field relationships impact residents' social behavior. Findings indicate that the rules of the field in rental youth apartments influence social methods, with functional diversity, shared spaces, and enhanced transitions between areas increasing residents' social willingness.
