Abstract

The article shares good pedagogical experience from STEAM project-based learning with a leading subject Biology and Health Education 7th grade. Students acquire knowledge and form practical skills by working on the realization of a product related to the significant life problem for antibiotic resistance of pathogenic bacteria. Through practical teamwork, students learn scientific content and develop problem-solving, critical thinking, creativity and collaboration skills. The project was implemented with students from 7th grade of Primary School „Yane Sandanski“ Plovdiv. The results of the survey conducted with the students show that projectbased learning contributes to the formation and development of skills in the 21st century.
