Abstract
The enormous role of the evolution of science, which can be presented as a set of moral, legal, political, philosophical, ideological and aesthetic values, is being actualized. Values regulate the life of the state, society, various social groups and individuals, integrate them into a single whole, consolidate society, lead to generally recognized goals in a given society, thereby revealing unresolvable contradictions that are a product of the historical era. The idea is being developed that modern society itself with a certain type of culture supplies meanings to science that are unresolvable at the current level of its development, since only philosophy can present provisions that resolve and clarify this situation.
