Abstract

The paper is devoted to poultry motor activity circadian rhythms and these rhythms influence on layer production. The time of egg forming in layer oviduct is proved to be constant, that is, 24 hours. It doesn’t depend on egg laying cycle longevity. Egg laying time is determined with ovulation time. The signal to production rhythms synchronization is the time light switching on in poultry house. When light in poultry house is being switched on at the same time the ovulation beginning phase is moving towards morning hours and resulting in egg laying pause. Some egg laying rhythm asynchrony is characteristic for low productive layers. New light regimes introduction with layers biological rhythms accounting helps to increase egg production.
