Abstract
The article presents scientific and applied characteristics of economic security as a state of protection of the national economy of the country from external and internal threats; determines the conditions for the development and strengthening of the national economy; the indicators to assess the level of corruption in the country were presented and analyzed; a cross-country comparative analysis of the Corruption Perception Index, the Anti-Corruption Index, the Rule of Law Index, and the Financial Secrecy Index was conducted; the National Anti-Corruption Plan and the Anti-Corruption Public Education Program for 2021-2024 were described; the necessity of increasing the level of legal consciousness and anti-corruption education among young people was substantiated.
