Abstract
The article analyzes the socio-demographic portrait of Russian youth and their professional mobility. The key aspects of youth work activity are considered, including factors affecting occupational mobility, such as urbanization, access to education, advanced training, and labor market requirements. Statistical data are provided, including the results of VTSIOM research and hh.ru, demonstrating the dynamics of vacancies, resumes, and youth unemployment. Special attention is paid to regional differences, reasons for relocation and opportunities for professional development of young professionals. The main challenges faced by young people are discussed, such as the high cost of living, the lack of jobs in the regions, as well as the prospects associated with the development of distance learning and work. It is concluded that it is necessary to create conditions for the professional growth of young people through the improvement of educational and work opportunities.
