Abstract
The article presents opinions on the arrival in the middle of the ХУ century in the city of Samarkand of the great poet and statesman Alisher Navai. Historical facts concerning the life and work of the poet in this city are analyzed. Samarkand was a city where a religious and philosophical worldview was finally formed, the range of ideas about the Sufism of the young Navai expanded.
