Abstract
The training of specialist librarians working in library and information institutions requires a deep mastery of theoretical and practical knowledge and active participation in the socio-economic, cultural and spiritual reforms ongoing in our country. Library and information activities are closely related to two factors: the object-reader and the product of the printed publication. The librarian, on the one hand, provides readers with publishing products, on the other hand, provides information about publications and provides reader culture, recommends studying and analyzing printed publications. All of the above requires from the librarian deep erudition, knowledge in the field of library and information activities.
