Abstract

Significant structural changes that have taken place in our country in recent years, necessitate the research of the hotel industry as an important component of the development of international tourism in Ukraine. In the article the author discloses the territorial division of room inventory of the hotels of various categories. The main regularities in the distribution of room inventory of the hotels at the district level are highlighted. The transformation that took place in the infrastructure during a certain time slot was analyzed. Disclosure of the factors that will affect the further development of infrastructure at the district level. The discrepancy between the existing natural resource potential and the level of provision of room inventory of the hotels in separate administrative units is highlighted. In the article the author highlighted the importance of the level of service for the further development of hotel complexes. The author discloses the importance of system development of related industries for the further development of international tourism. Significant structural changes that have taken place in the provision of infrastructure as a result of the military conflict in the state have been established. The article states that for the further development of international tourism in some administrative units of rayon level and cities of oblast significance it is important to increase the numbering of the high and first categories. In order to gain competitive advantages in attracting international tourists to a significant number of districts it is worth both to increase the number of rooms and raise the level of service. In the article, the author emphasizes the need for clear state regulatory requirements for the further development of the hotel industry. The author pointed out the insufficient number of high and the first category room inventory of the hotels in some areas of the Kherson region to attract an additional number of international tourists by individual destinations, as a result of the redistribution of international tourist flows.
