Abstract
The coming year will mark the 100th anniversary of birth of G.I. Rozhkova, one of the founders of the discipline “Russian as a foreign language”. The author recalls one of the last public speeches of G.I. Rozhkova and shows the actuality and contemporaneity of her ideas and methodological principles for modern linguodidactics.
