Abstract
The article is devoted to modern methods and approaches in teaching of the foreign language, in particular a specialized foreign language. The main goal of the article is the methodology of teaching of specialized foreign language, the goals of its teaching and the stages in the construction of the curriculum, of professional language skills and competencies. The article offers practical recommendations and a specific case from the curriculum of specialized French.
