Abstract

While the technical aspects of VR devices are constantly being developed by making up for their shortcomings, VR content is in a stagnant state where they cannot come up with a solution that fully meets the requirement of the emerging media. In terms of surroundings, when an HMD device is worn, the characteristics of a private space are reinforced by completely blocking the external environment. By focusing on this characteristic, this study intends to investigate the user's guilty pleasure factor for media content consumed by multiple users, and to suggest the direction of content creation by combining it with VR. The significance of this study is to recognize a problem of lack of popularization of VR images that many people have not noticed as well as to suggest a solution through the remediation of successful new media content that has many shared features with VR content.
