Abstract

As the necessity of introducing smart tourism for innovation and development of the tourism industry is raised, collaboration between tourism and IT businesses is becoming more important. Tourism and IT businesses are the core actors of smart tourism ecosystems, and through co-orientation analysis of the two groups on the establishment factors of smart tourism ecosystems, this study tried to enhance the efficiency of collaborative communication and strengthen the establishment of smart tourism ecosystems. As a result of the analysis, it is confirmed that there is an imbalance and inconsistency in mutual perception, indicating that group understanding and misunderstanding exist. In other words, it is judged that the degree of co-orientation between the two is at a low level. This study has practical significance by providing a useful framework for improving the quality of interaction among tourism stakeholders. In addition, there is theoretical significance in expanding the scope of cognitive research in the tourism field by applying a co-orientation model to the analysis of differences in mutual perception between organizations or groups.
