Abstract

This article highlights the importance of the industrial complex of the Kashkadarya region in the economy of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The results of the study show that in recent years, the positions of Kashkadarya region in terms of industrial production have been declining among the regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan. The share of the region in the volume of production for the extraction of minerals and discovered minerals; industrial production; water supply, sewerage, waste collection and disposal sectors has been declining over the years. Contrary to this trend, electricity, gas, steam supply and air conditioning sectors are rapidly developing in the region. Based on this, the article developed scientific and practical proposals and recommendations for improving the structure of the regional industrial complex and increasing the efficiency of industries.
