Abstract

The intellectualization of the road transport system of the city allows solving transport problems in the field of traffic management, and the creation of a Unified Intelligent Transport System at the country level will allow monitoring the traffic situation at the road network in real time, making the necessary management decisions, and will also enable participants in the transport process to use ITS services anywhere in the country. An analysis of the dynamics of changes in the accident rate in the city of Saratov and the Saratov region was carried out. The structure of development and interaction of ITS components is considered. The process of phased introduction of a single platform for managing the transport system, which contributes to an increase in the level of intel-lectualization of the road transport system, is considered.
