Abstract

Widely spread errors in the usage of the names of spontaneous and induced processes, wrong verbal nouns associated with finished and unfinished processes as well as their results, misuse of verbal adjectives describing active and passive properties are considered. Incorrect nomination produces misunderstanding of the occurrence of the processes under consideration and causes semantic gaps in their description. Full derivation chains are shown for the most frequently misused words.
