Abstract
During the transition to the sixth technological mode (according to S.Y. Glazyev) or the sixth long wave (according to N. Kondratiev), significant changes take place in the development of technologies and social division of labor, in the culture of production and society. Th article shows that falling oil prices, the coronavirus pandemic and heightened tensions in international relations (sanctions, trade wars, terrorism, fight against ISIS, information war, etc.) have exacerbated the global crisis. In this regard, the author considers new economic phenomena, in particular, the maker movement developed in cooperative network formats, which, according to some researchers, may lead to a “system of civilized cooperators”. The article analyzes the "new craftsmanship" movement from the perspective of the economy, politics, culture and management.
