Abstract

This article presents a political analysis of the impact of globalization on the formation of Kyrgyz civic identity. In Kyrgyzstan, during the globalization process, the pace of development slowed down, and acute problems arose in the political, sociocultural sphere. In the process of globalization in Kyrgyz society, old Soviet values were destroyed, and the formation of civic identity with a new system of values began. The beginning of political development is related to political processes in civil society and difficult situations or crisis situation. Kyrgyz civic identity can be implemented on the basis of reforms and transformational changes aimed at getting out of the above situation in society. In the context of globalization, the influence of internal and external conditions is strong. It depends on the choice of which path to the development of society and the choice of the political forces in the direction of development.
