Abstract

This study collected data from 30 students in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades of K University in J, K-do to determine the effect of online employment adaptation practice training programs on grit, career decision-making self-efficacy, and practical integration ability in the COVID-19 pandemic. An online employment adaptation practice training program was developed for nursing students based on the ADDIE model and the validity of the program was verified through expert validation, and it applied online education 10 times in real time for 4 hours a day and 5 days, using guidance from hospital education nurses and online video participation by nursing students. Descriptive statistics and regression analysis were used for the collected data. Study Results Grit (F=17.79, p<.001), practical integration capability (F=19.47, p<.001) showed a significant difference over time, with the average value of the subjects before, immediately after, and four weeks after participation in the online employment adaptation practical training program. Based on the results of this study, it is suggested the feasibility of nursing students' practice in limited remote education environment and proposed the development and application of various online employment adaptation practice training programs linked with industry collaborations for nursing students.
