Abstract

The purpose of this study was to verify differences of Achievement Goal Orientation and Intrinsic Motivation between training program participation group and non participation group. The participants were elementary students in S city selected by purposive sampling. A total of 74 students were in the training program participation group and 51 students were in the non training program decided. Two time repetition measurement per 16 weeks were executed for 2×2 mixed design with repeated measure. The scale was developed by verification of task-disposition, self-disposition and enjoyment-effort, perceived competence, tension based on understood by children. For this statistic SPSS 12.0 for window was used for Factor Analysis, Reliability Analysis, and two-way mixed ANOVA. The result were as follows; First there was mutual affect between training program and non participation group on task-disposition. Second, there was no mutual affect between training program and non participation group on self-disposition. Third, there was mutual affect between training program and non participation group on enjoyment-effort. Fourth, there was no mutual between training program and non participation group on perceived competence. Fifth, there was no mutual between training program and non participation group on tension. In conclusion, training program participation of Youth tended to have effect increasing task-disposition, enjoyment-effort but have little effect increasing self-disposition, perceived competence, tension.
