Abstract

The purpose of the article is to analyze the main forms of international education in the Pioneer Organization in the 1920s – 1980s of the 20th century. Much attention is given to the goals and objectives of the international education of adolescents. The main forms and methods are revealed: International Youth Day; International Children's Week; All-Union expeditions to study the history of the Motherland; activities of International Friendship Clubs; collective correspondence of Soviet children with foreign friends, celebration of the Young Anti-fascist Hero Day; the USSR Establishing Day, etc. As a result, the authors draw conclusions that conducting constant and systematic work by establishing links between pioneer organizations of various national republics, strengthening friendship with the children of working people of all countries was necessary for the implementation of the main tasks of international education of adolescents.
