Abstract

The creation of artificial intelligence is an idea that has been in the focus of scientific interest of various researchers for a long time. Having received a conceptual design 65 years ago at the Dartmouth conference, this idea for several decades was considered some kind of exotic, far from practical implementation. And only in the last two decades, when two progressive trends have come together – the digitalization of huge amounts of data and the revolutionary growth of the computing capabilities of computer technology – the concept of creating artificial intelligence has acquired not only the possibility of real implementation, but also the prospects for practical application in various spheres of public life. This article presents a set of current problems in the development of artificial intelligence. It is not exhaustive, but it gives a clear idea of the nature and scope of the tasks that developers have to solve on the way to creating intelligent systems that can claim to reproduce human cognitive abilities.
