Abstract

The purpose of the article is revealed through the analysis of the legal education content for party and Soviet workers in 1917-1919 on the basis of didactic materials of Communist University named after Y. M. Sverdlov. Based on the thesis about the special place of the University in the system of party and Soviet managers training, the research hypothesis is formulated about the possibility of evaluating the block of legal disciplines content as the indicator of Soviet Russia senior leadership’s attitude to the state and law, as the elements of the country's governance system. Evidentiary base is based on on the results of the analysis of the University's educational-methodological materials that were not previously introduced into scientific circulation in 1919-1920.
