Abstract

The aim of the article to analyze the specifics of Russian-Bulgarian relations in the period of 1877–1913. The author shows the tendencies of Russian-Bulgarian relations from 1877 to 1913, revealing them as the objective conse-quence of internal changes in these countries. At the same time, cultural, religious, ethnic and other ties turned out to be stronger than disagreements of geopolitical nature. After three world wars the relations between Russia and Bul-garia as a whole were not overshadowed by the burden of mutual accusations.
