Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the relationship among participation motivation, leisure flow and excercise adherence of college student participating in Taekwondo club. To achieve the goal of this study, data was collected from the college Taekwondo Club participants at the National College Taekwondo competition at was held in Muju Taekwondo-Won from Nov 6th to 8th, 2015. By using convenience sampling method preliminary data, a total of 340 returned questionnaires were used for data analysis after subtracting 10 questionaries which were not returned or returned incompletely. The collected data were analyzed and interpreted by Window SPSS 21.0. The followings are the outcomes obtained from the procedures. First, among the college Taekwondo club participants, the analysis of the relationship between participation motivation and leisure flow showed that all the factors of participation motivation except external showoff had partially positive effect on every sub-factor of leisure flow. Second, among the college Taekwondo club participants, the analysis of the relationship between participation motivation and exercise adherence showed that all the factors of participation motivation except no-reason had partially positive effect on every sub-factor of exercise adherence. Third, among the college Taekwondo club participants, the analysis of the relationship between leisure flow and exercise adherence, all the factors of leisure flow except lose of self-consciousness had partially positive effect on every sub-factors of exercise adherence.
