Abstract
The volume of products in goose farming depends on the reproductive qualities of the poultry. These indicators have a significant impact on the economic efficiency of production. Studying the influence of the age of male and female geese on their reproductive qualities, it was found that these qualities improve with age. For example, the output of goslings from geese in the third year of use increased by 3.5 %, and the yield of incubation eggs and fertilization also increased by 7.8 % and 3.7 %, respectively.
