Abstract

The activity of listening is one of the most relevant topics inthe modern methodology of teaching the Kazakh language, because speechcommunication cannot be realized without listening. Currently, there is aquestion as to how well listening skills are being learned in Kazakh languageclasses. According to the results of the conducted research, although there is aplace for conversational activities in the educational standard, listening activitiesin classes are ignored and are not fully realized. The article analyzes researchworks on the effectiveness of teaching listening behavior. In it, the importance of the listening activity related to the teaching methodology of the Kazakhlanguage is described. It covers the stages of the listening activity: before theaudition, during the audition, and after the audition, and samples of tasks areoffered accordingly. At the same time, during the research work, the results ofthe experiment conducted on schoolchildren are analyzed and their effectivenessis proven.
