Abstract
In this article the authors formulate the goal, objectives, priorities of development of the investment sphere of the Gomel region, as well as key directions of their implementation. The novelty of the obtained results lies, firstly, in defining the directions of development of the investment sphere of the region taking into account the foreign economic activity of its specialization. Secondly, it is about coordinating the goal, objectives and priorities of development of the region investment sphere with similar provisions at the national level. Thirdly, it concerns specifying the directions of development of the region investment sphere to the level of investment projects.
