Abstract

The article discusses the actual concepts of "cybercrime" and "cybercrime", the basic component of which is cyberspace as a special area of activity in the information space. The emergence of these concepts is due to the global computerization of society, which determines the ongoing modernization of information technology and the emergence of new types of crimes committed through cyberspace. However, at present, both within the framework of international acts and in domestic legislation, there are no generally accepted definitions of these concepts, along with the lack of a unified approach to determining their content aspect. In addition, there is no consensus on the list of cybercrimes. In this connection, there is a need for a detailed study of national legislation and international acts that provide for liability for committing cybercrimes.
