Abstract

Turks in history; As a result of war, occupation and oppression, they adopted more than one alphabet. However, they adopted the religion of Islam in the 10th century and used the Arabic alphabet until the first quarter of the 19th century. This alphabet has ensured the cultural uni-ty among the Turks for centuries and created thousands of works. It was a very difficult period for the Russians to occupy the Turkish homelands. Because their geographies have been fragmented and they have been cul-turally assimilated.The 90s brought with it important opportunities. The superpower USSR collapsed and the Turkish Republics declared their independence. They worked hard to establish their national state and to separate from the Russians. Many of them abandoned the Cyrillic alphabet, which they had been forced to use for sixty-five years, and switched to Latin letters. After all, the Turks, who were behind the iron curtain, started to meet, meet and even meet again.
