Abstract

Modern society is characterized by the rapid introduction of innovative technologies and digital services in all sectors of the national economy and people's lives. These processes are commonly referred to as digital transformation. One of the directions of digital transformation is the agricultural sector. The importance and relevance of digitalization of agriculture is obvious, since not only the state of the country's economy, but also food security depends on the level of its technical and technological development and the effectiveness of industry management. Therefore, it is necessary to carefully study the issues related to the implementation of digital transformation processes in the agricultural sector, identify problems and look for effective ways to solve them. This article highlights the most significant opportunities and advantages of the processes of digital transformation of agriculture, shows the impact of digitalization of the industry on improving the economic efficiency of agricultural enterprises. The analysis of the prerequisites for the need to use digital tools that optimize agricultural activities is given. The legal bases of implementation of projects of digital transformation of agriculture are considered. The main tasks and directions of development of digital transformation of agriculture are indicated. Examples of promising digital technologies used in agricultural enterprises are shown. Urgent problems hindering the development of digital technologies and services in agriculture have been identified, and possible solutions have been identified.
