Abstract
This article analyzes the features of the for-mation of large categories of spatial specific factors in tourism and the significance of the nature of the parameters for assessing the resource base of a destination in the context of these factors. The authors examined the basic features and non-obvious characteris-tics of the factors and studied their nature. The difficulties in categorizing static factors are considered and its specificity is revealed based on global experience. As a result of the study, the relationship between the cate-gories of static and dynamic factors was determined.
