Abstract
The article considers a new mechanism for the transformation of the national economy in accordance with the development strate-gy. Scientific approaches to the formation of a national model are considered. The main problems hindering the development of the Russian economy are highlighted. An algorithm for the development of an optimal model for the development of the Russian economy is proposed.
